Back To Hogwarts

Like you know, I'm a Potterhead. And due to the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, I decided to re-read all seven books, I've already read the first two, but I would like to write about this one the most. I really like the book to movie adaptation of this book, but I think the story leaves behind many secrets and surprises that are within it. Not for anything J.K Rowling decided to add them in this specific part, but for the purpose of explaining many things we didn't know of Harry's past. That's why I prefer the book.  “I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.”  I think this is the book where more tricks happen, and this is phrase everyone has said at least one time, not literally, before doing something bad. I like to see that Rowling understands how we, at the age thirteen, want to explore the world and she portrays it very well in Harry. This is the year when he discovers more about his past, himself and Hogwarts. Also, I found the tight r...

All Hail The Queen

Because I love books, I look for people who share my passion so we can discuss about them and so I can get recommendations and expand my knowledge. I've come to find out that there are people who talk about books in YouTube, they're called Booktubers and they are so big that they have a community called Booktube Media. And they are no longer kind.” I read this quote in the back cover of the book, besides everything else that told what the story was about, and I was completely sold. It wasn't a matter of time before I bought the book and sat down to read it. I was entirely interested in the premise, a world divided by blood where people are more and are less depending on theirs. Where have I seen this before? I thought it wa...

A Peculiar Place

Ever since I was a child I've loved movies, and I like to think of myself as a certain actor follower (meaning I like some actors and actresses and usually when a movies comes out and they appear in it, I watch it). Same thing happened with Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children book to movie adaptation, I had already my eye on the book but hadn't come to read it. So, when someone (whom I thank so much) gave it to me as a Christmas gift, I knew it was a sign and had to read it.  Like many books I choose to read, I loved it and couldn't wait for buying the rest of the trilogy. I had many expectations on this book and some of them were fulfilled but I can't deny that while reading this book I felt like it was a bridge for something so much better for the ending.  “Do you ever find yourself climbing into an open grave during a bombing raid..and wish you'd just stayed in bed?” I can easily relate this to my life and that is why this quote stuck with me. ...
